This morning Genesis had the pleasure of hosting a Hanford and Lemoore homeschool group. The kids got to learn all about how we grow food and community.
Everyone learned all about tree fruit and got to enjoy picking and tasting naturally grown cherries.

After that, the kids got to try their hands at making soil blocks and learned it wasn't as easy as it looks.  It sure does cut back on plastic, however!
We finished the adventure by planting spaghetti squash so everyone could see the soil blocks in action.
From all of us here at Genesis Organic Farm, thank you for your visit and we look forward to seeing you again!

When you teach young ones to be responsible, they will grow up to be one someday and share what they have learned while they were young! It makes me happy to see that these children had their field trip at the garden and learned a lot of stuff about planting! as we can see, their smiles were very genuine! They loved planting and how I wish they will make it as a favorite hobby when they are all grown ups. They will help Mother Earth big time.

I mean, sure, people love traveling during the day, but there are also spots to explore during the night. I am not really fond of beaches, which is why I love exploring during the night. If you ask me, there are a lot of benefits in traveling in the night.
