Pick Your Own Fruit

Our Pick Your Own fruit is grow the way nature intended:
without chemicals and pesticides
Note from Farmer Jeannie- I’m sad to say we had to close the maze at the end of the season in 2021 due to an injury from a car accident. And temporarily closed the whole farm for the 2022 season because I had heart surgery. Ive since recovered but, alas, Im not the farmer I use to be so we downsized, sold most of the land and semi-retired. We still have a small orchard and I plan to grow a veggie patch in 2023. Since the trees didn’t get the memo that I’m semi-retired they are still producing fruit. I plan to run fruit picking tours when I feel up to it. Just give me a call and see what’s in season and if an appointment is available. I would love to share some of the awesome organic food that grows on my farm. God bless you and stay safe,
-Farmer Jeannie

This season will feature...
A Veggie U-pick. -Carrots, Tomato, Squash, Beans, Cucumber etc.
A Sweet Pumpkin Patch in the fall.
Our Cucumelon Maze will be back with the addition of edible flowers in the maze
And of course we will still have Cherries, Blackberries, Peaches, Apricots, Apriums, Apples, Fuyu Persimmons and Pluots in their respective seasons.

"What is a Pluot?"

Glad you asked. It's a cross between a Plum and an Apricot. There are many varieties.  Purple Red and Gold skin with red to yellow flesh. a bit juicer than an apricot. Welcome to the world of designer stonefruit.

"What is a Cucamelon?"
Good question. It's a cucumber that looks like a grape sized watermelon. They taste like cucumber with a twist of lime. Great on a salad or perfect pickles. They come with a cucamelon pickle recipe card. They grow on a very aggressive vine so I decided to grow them in a 60 ft x 60 ft  maze.
