This past week, we got to take a little road trip up to Sanoma County to check out the 7th Annual National Heirloom Expo. While there we saw so many different varieties of fruits and vegetables all naturally and organically grown. It was a very inspiring and enlightening experience. While at the Expo, we attended a number of lectures from seasoned farmers, ag entrepreneurs, and bee keepers. We learned more about staying healthy on the farm thanks to Doug and Stacy from "Off Grid With Doug and Stacy." We learned about Natural Agriculture techniques from Japan; Heirloom tomato seed saving from Wild Boar Farms, and sustainable bee keeping from Sanoma County. We also attended a CropMobster presentation on community growth and connection through agriculture. We left the expo inspired and ready to get our hands back in the Earth. We look forward to incorporating what we learned in to Genesis Organic Farm so that we can continue to bring you the very best quality of produce possible. I am so happy to know that Genesis Organic Farm was able to participate in The Heirloom Expo. It was a good venue for you to showcase all the things you've got, and how organic your products are! Nowadays, more fair owners are taking the short path by using different chemicals for their plants. This is a practice that has not been done by Genesis, I am sure of that! By the way, all the vegetables you're selling are all fresh!
