On Saturday, September 23, we celebrated the end of the Discovery Gardens season. It was a lot of fun for everyone! We had food and sweet treats and games for the kids. Our yearly toad races were a big hit! Everyone won a race. The toads did great and were promptly returned to their homes after the race to relax from all of the excitement. To end off the season with a bang, we all launched tomatoes as far as we could! The kids competed to see who could launch theirs the farthest. In first place, Jonas' tomato went 130'. In second place, Danny's tomato flew a whole 122'; and in third place, with a tomato flight of 110', Zachary! After the kids were done, the adults got to have fun launching the old fruit tremendous distances. Discovery Gardeners will have one more week to finish harvesting the gardens before we prep the beds for winter. The last day for Gardeners to come out and pick up their deposits will be Saturday, September 30. Secure your garden for next summer! Sign up today for Discovery Gardens 2018. Gardens will be assigned in January on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up here!

I believe that it's really nice to be part of Discovery Gardeners because you guys get the chance to do what you want to di in terms of planting. Seeing these vegetables make me feel that I have this desire to plant anytime soon! The yearly harvest that you had was bountiful, and I have this feeling that the coming years will be all bountiful years for you. At the same time, the plants that you are selling look so fresh!

Start by monitoring your garden regularly for signs of pest activity, including chewed leaves, wilting plants, or insect eggs. Identify pests accurately to determine the most appropriate control methods.

Pricing your home correctly from the start is also essential; overpricing can lead to your home sitting on the market, while underpricing may result in missed opportunities. Collaborating with a real estate agent who knows the local market can help you set the right price and develop a targeted marketing plan to attract serious buyers.
