At Genesis, We want to give back what we take and create the most sustainable system possible for our area.
We incorporate many practices borrowed from generations old organic farms and permaculture teachings.
Our 1/4 acre Pick-Your-Own fields are managed following Organic practices
though we are no longer required to certify due to our small size.

In Memory of Percy Jackson Percy was a friendly little kitty that someone dropped off at the farm. He was about 8 weeks old and had crusted up eyes and a respiratory infection when we found him. We nursed him back to health and he became one of my best cats. I called him my "Lightning Thief" because he was so fast. He was an amazing hunter bringing me gifts almost daily. Squirrel was his favorite. He couldn't resist the Siren call of the squirrels. Ranging too close to the highway during one of his hunting expeditions was his undoing. He is survived by Gin Gin, Flo and Tiger Lily. I miss him so much. |
